Chapter 120: Leaving

"He is my ex-boyfriend," Elsie replied with a weak smile.

As much as she hated to admit it, she still got to tell this persistent son of hers who was looming over her like she had pocketed all his candles.

"Ex-boyfriend?" Lucas asked, creasing his brows.

He folded his hands to his chest and molded his lips to a side, thinking.

"What??" Elsie asked, walking forward. She was still lingering by the door when Lucas bombard her with that question.

"What's a boyfriend mom?" Lucas caught her off guard with his question which made her smile and felt a joyous feeling swirling inside her. Who would have thought this smart kid of hers wouldn't know what a boyfriend is? I guess it's time to play the safer side.

Elsie's down-like mode lighted up quickly, she doesn't need to disclose who Derek was but instead, she plans to plot to twist their past.
