Chapter 40: Friends

Lucifer was confused, he was wondering why Snake has refused to disclose the whereabouts of Lydia and the way he sounded made Lucifer feel like he is the cause of her disappearance.

“Snake, what’s wrong with you? Why do you sound like I am the cause of her disappearance?” Lucifer had to ask Snake because of the way Snake was sounding when he was asking him about the whereabouts of Lydia.

“I never said you are the cause, I’m just saying I don't know where she is.” Snake explained to Lucifer and walked away. Lucifer was confused, both of them were slowly going crazy as he was trying to understand what was going on.

“Snake really just walked out on me.” Lucifer said to himself, still finding it hard to believe. He knew that there is no way Snake will not know the whereabouts of Lydia because they are very close and they always tell each other things.

“I need to know what’s going on and why no one is telling me any thing.” Lucifer said to himself and walked into his room.
