Chapter 53: Meant To Be Friends

Early the following morning, Elise woke up as early as 5 o'clock. She had a quick shower and a quick brush too. She wore her dress, and a long black coat.

She sneaked out of her room, trailing through the hallway which led to the exit door. She successfully made it out of the castle, and out of the walls of the palace.

During those years she and Derek were together, she knew of a witch but she feared the witch would be alive.

It took her about an hour and half before she got to the witch's coven. But to her disappointment, it was locked with a bug stone with grass covering every side of the walls.

"This is just fu*ked up. Why does my plan seem to be in vain especially when I have the best of it?" She grunts angrily.

She heard a hissing sound not far from where she stood. She paused to listen to where the sound was coming from. She looked to the ground and saw a snake a few inches away from her legs.

The snake was crawling towards her. Slowly, she moved back, mistakenly steppi
