"You have to be a witness to what is about to happen."

"A witness?" She scoffed. "Hold on, is this some kinda set up or what? Are you guys trying to frame me up?" She yanked.

"Elise, calm down. No one is framing or setting you up. We only want you to witness Luci taking her as a sign that as from today, you and the underworld have no business to do with each other."

"Really?" She sat back on the sofa. "Why didn't you explain it better earlier?"

"Well, we were handling some unfinished business." She said, referring to Erica.

"How long do we have to wait for him to show up?" Elise asked, already growing impatient.

"Long enough, until whenever he decides to show up."

"What if she wakes up before he shows up, we are all dead."

"How long do you sleep at night?"

"Am I supposed to answer that?"

"Can you for once answer a damn question without asking back?"

"Only if the question is relevant, I won't ask back."
