Emma wasn't giving Derek her time, she's been acting cold lately. Derek keeps asking her what the problem is but she kept on saying she was fine. This only got him worried and sick of her repeated words.

Today, she's waking up with the same cold expression which only got Derek worried the more. He knows some thing was bothering her but she has refused to talk to him about it.
