Appreciations

Arabella stepped into the kitchen the next morning. She felt stronger and better than last night, thanks to Klaus who had made sure to take good and proper care of her.

As she walked into the kitchen, the woman took a quick turn to glance at her. A small frown formed on Mrs. George's face as she looked at Arabella.

"And what, if I may ask, might you be doing downstairs?" Arabella watched as Mrs. George dropped the plate in her hands, wiped her soapy hands against her dark apron, begkre rushing to her.

"What do you think you're doing downstairs?"

Arabella was surprised to see the woman rush to her like that. As she continued to watch Mrs. George's face, a deep frown spread across her lips.

"I just wanted to help you do some stuff around the kitchen. I…"

"No, no." Mrs. George refused, shaking her head.

"I cannot let you do that, please. You need to go back upstairs to rest."

Arabella rolled her eyes and scoffed. If was an awfully loud one.
