Teaching The Enemy A Lesson

Arabella continued to gulp hard as she sat beside Klaus. He had climbed into the car and taken one long look at her, but she could barely turn to look at him. She kept her eyes straight ahead and continuously tucked her lower lip underneath her teeth to stop her lips from quivering.

When it was not enough to stop her shivering, she locked her fingers together in front of her palm and kept her jaw clenched and kept her eyes on the road.

Her entire body felt as cold as ice. Her teeth continued to grind against each other, and the air conditioner in the car did not make issues any better. She had tried so hard to return her breathing to its original pattern, but it seemed almost impossible to do so.

As though he had noticed her sour mood, her master stretched his right hand to touch her left.

He squeezed her palm softly, and that was when she felt the first bit of warmth melt the ice that had frozen her spine. He did not take his hands off her and continued to stroke her skin of her
