Chapter 80 "No Hope"

Third Person’s POV

It was well past midnight, and Mikhail found himself unable to sleep. He couldn't help but keep glancing at the clock, hoping that sleep would finally take hold of him. However, every time he thought about his conversation with Agatha earlier, it felt as though he had consumed an entire gallon of coffee.

Frustration welled up inside him, and he cursed at himself under his breath.

‘Sh*t."

He couldn't understand what had possessed him to confess his lingering love for Agatha. The courage he had summoned in that moment now seemed foolish and reckless.

Mikhail let out a heavy sigh as he glanced at his phone, hoping to see a message from Agatha. Disappointingly, there was nothing.

“No message at all.”

Despite receiving multiple messages from other women vying for his attention, he only had eyes for Agatha. He had reached out to her, and now he anxiously awaited her response.
