26. Fishing Out The Suspects

ANDREI's POV

I watched as every one of them sucked in a breath immediately after I said this. I watched their faces as I searched for traces of guilt in them.

There was a mixture of shock, anger, and fear in their faces. But not guilt. That was until I saw three of the Elders who sat close to each other. They were Elder Timothy, Elder Flinn, and Elder Harris.

The three of them shifted in their seats and avoided my eyes. They had panicked and guilty looks on their faces.

"Your Highness, how did you come to this conclusion? Do you have any idea who the mole is?" One of the Elders asked me.

"A wolf who was out on a walk saw two masked wolves in the woods. They were talking about attacking the palace. He immediately came to report what he saw, but he could not find any of us, so he told Anya about it. She reported back to us," Abel said, giving them an explanation.
