Chapter 129: Ashton and Edward

“Alpha, you ask for my presence. I heard you want to talk to me.” Ashton greeted me as I was watching the water from the falls flow down from the lake. He sounded confused but he waited for me to tell him what was the purpose of our sudden meeting.

The fact I was hesitant to do what my father had told me made me want to ask Ashton about my plan. I thought about his safety first and if he was to take a risk. I didn't know if already forgave King Edward for what he had done to his family.

If he agreed to what I wanted, then I would continue what I promised to Kairo and Atticus. However, if he didn't want to do the rest, then I respected his decision. I didn't want to force him because his safety was the most essential of this game.

Perhaps, I would seek an excuse from my parents once Kairo and Atticus keep asking me about their father. My mother was heartbroken to see their grandchildren being sad but they could help me to explain that I might take a long time to introduce them to him.
