"Atticus, stop crying; we will be back in his pack whatever happens. I know Mom will do what she says." I heard Kairo trying to calm his twin while we waited for the carriage to arrive. As I watched them being together, my forehead formed a crease when I saw how Atticus giggled despite the tears streaming to his cheek. I didn't know if he was really sad or not, but when he caught me looking at him, he sobbed so hard that he couldn't breathe anymore.

Kairo, who was his protective brother, tapped his back with gentleness even more before he hushed him. He was so serious to the point that he looked back at me and scowled like I was trying to scare his brother.
