Chapter 44: Leave, or else...

Sarah had a point. I wouldn't think she was trying to manipulate me. She only said what she was thinking that night. It was strange to agree with her because we used to fight each other, and hated each other. It seemed like we were not crazy bitches who came back to their sanities.

That night was different because of the peace between us. I stared at the ceiling as my body was lying on the bed. I didn't want to think about what Sarah had said but I couldn't stop my mind from thinking about it.

I recall I asked my mother about it but she denied I was adopted. I didn't know what I would believe in but the feeling I might be not his true daughter had a great impact on me.

‘Alice, do you think I'm his daughter? What do you think about what Sarah has said?’

I couldn't stop myself from asking Alice. She might know if I was adopted or not. I was waiting for her response but she didn't say anything but gave me a silent treatment. My wolf was heartless, I couldn't stop myself from overthinking
