The tiny and crooked house basked in silence once Stefanos was done telling his story, safe for the distant chiming of the church bell.

But even after the bell had stopped chiming, the silence continued, until it started getting awkward for Stefanos. Because not only had he shared his pitiful past with the Omega, but had also broken down.

But now that he peeked a glance at her and found her very much concentrated on a loose thread on her skirt, Stefanos realized just how foolish he had been.

He had come here, of all places, and ranted out. And Alpha ranting to an Omega.

What will Xenia think of me now? I couldn't defend myself from those high wolves in the park, nor did I know how to hunt in human form. And here I am, crying like a pathetic five year old. Just what was I thinking?
