102. Doctor Louise

Nicolas drove his vehicle out of the basement of his office building. The CEO was not driven this time by Lucas, the personal driver he had recently hired. The man was on leave today because he wanted to accompany his mother to surgery. It sounded familiar, accompanying Mom to surgery, but Nicolas wasn't sure where he had heard of it.

The man stopped his car at a red light, occasionally whistling as he watched the countdown on the Traffic Lights that was less than thirty seconds away.

While he waited, Nicolas called Dianne while wearing the air pods he had taken from the dashboard of his car.

[Dianne Rosallee:] "Yes, Nicolas?"

Dianne's voice was heard on the other side.

"Have you arrived at your part-time café?" asked Nicolas.

[Dianne Rosallee:] "Yes, as always. What's going on?"

"I'll be at your place when I get back from my therapist's office," Nicolas said, stepping on the gas as the traffic light turned from red to green.
