114. Neglected By Nicolas

Dianne glanced at Nicolas as he was listening to the presentation of a finance unit team leader who was outlining the results of his analysis of their financial statements for the month.

Since meeting him this morning, the man had not looked at Dianne at all, let alone spoken to her. This caused Dianne to wonder a little.

'Nicolas' behavior since this morning has been strange,' Dianne thought, looking back at the presenter with a mind that was still thinking about the man's behavior today. 'Nicolas didn't even reply to my text last night.'

After Dianne returned home from the textile factory area last night, the girl sent Nicolas a message asking if he was still working late or what time he would arrive at her penthouse. However, Dianne never got a reply when she woke up and even into the afternoon when they passed each other in the office.
