Keenan nodded his head, realizing that Nicolas was determined to return to work as quickly as possible. He grinned and raised his coffee cup. "To new beginnings!"

"Anyway, what about the person who hit me?" “I've been waiting to hear from the police for the past few days but it seems that they're only dealing with you. You're overseeing this hit-and-run case," ask Nicolas, crossing his leg to feel more comfortable.

"The person who hit you hasn't been caught yet. As you know, all the CCTV cameras around your village have been vandalized and the police believe that it was the perpetrator's doing," said Keenan.

Nicolas, frustrated by the lack of progress in the investigation, could no longer contain his frustration.

"Keenan, what are you going to do about it? I need to know that you'll investigate the case and make sure that this person is brought to justice." Nicolas clenched his fists tightly. "You can't just leave this case on the back burner and expect everything to return to norm
