41. San Francisco, Years Ago

This afternoon Nicolas is cycling around his villa. He was fully dressed with a helmet and knee pads. Dianne also came along and the two of them cycled along the roads around the Villa.

"It's a good day," Dianne said, looking up at the clear blue sky. The sun was shining and there were no clouds in sight. "The weather is nice today, don't you think?" she asked. She wore her white dress under a coat and had several pockets on either side to keep her things from falling out. The skirt came down just above her ankles and seemed to reach her knees, but Dianne didn't mind too much. Her fiancé would never approve of her wearing a skirt because it would make the hem drag on the ground. And he probably wouldn't approve of Dianne taking off her shoes either because they might get dirty.

Nicolas stopped his bike and looked up at the sky. "Yes, today's weather is good for cycling," he agreed, taking off his helmet and placing it beside him. His thick red hair was a mess. Dianne loved to run her
