52. Dark Pain and Trauma

"When you're a bit free, come downstairs," said Miss Alicia. "At least say hello to your father." After all, Miss Alicia was like a surrogate mother for Nicolas, even though her status was only a nanny since the child was six years old.

"Alicia, shut up, I can't concentrate," Nicolas snapped, without looking up from the screen of his tablet.

Miss Alicia's forehead creased, what was Nicolas doing? Come to think of it, it's been a week since this man was busy with his tablet, even spending all day from morning till midnight in his room. Leave the room only to eat or exercise. Even then, Nicolas only often used the treadmill which was in the partition of another room in his room.

Out of curiosity, Miss Alicia entered and walked over to Nicolas who was sitting at his study table. Slowly but surely, Miss Alicia looked behind Nicolas’ss body to see what work he was so busy doing on the tablet.
