Chapter 21

ISABELLA

Noon already. The atmosphere is looking nice lately. My PA served me chilled drink as I requested and it's doing so well in refreshing my body. Perfect drink for a perfect hot afternoon.

"Is there anything else you need ma'am?" My PA, Nina asked. I looked up at her and gave a slight nod.

"No that will be all. Tell my secretary that I don't want to be disturbed" I said without looking at her as I went through my new magazine.

"Yes ma'am" she said and turned to leave.

"And cancel all my appointments for the rest of the day I really need to rest"

"But ma'am.. the "

"I said cancel Nina" I said a bit aloud, cutting her off. She nodded and bowed. "Yes ma'am"

"Get out of my office" I said calmly and she left.

Signing, I stood up and moved towards my huge windows. My eyes admired the beautiful city. Very nice as always. Everyday of my life, am thankful for being born in this city. I became who I am today in this city, I had my amazing son in this city and am still progressing. I just
