Samantha looked at him, went downstairs with him and let out a sigh of relief.

When they went downstairs, the Presidential motorcade stopped at the gate of the main building. Robert opened the door of one of the cars, Samantha went in first, then Nicklaus followed.

Closing the door, Nicklaus held Samantha's hand, then pulled her closer in his arms. He lowered his head and kissed the top of her head.

"I told you before that Stefan and I ate childhood sweethearts and that he had proposed to me before. Don't you want to ask me something?" Looking at the man who was maintaining his cool, Samantha's eyes were filled with uneasiness.

She wasn't worried about her relationship with Stefan because there was nothing between them.

The reason she felt uneasy was because she was a surrogate mother before. Back then, Stefan has chosen to break up with her because of that.
