CHAPTER 12: Escape Plan

"Why aren't you eating?" he asked impatiently. "Stop curling up in the corner and eat your food."

I hugged my knees tighter, ignoring him.

"How stubborn," he angrily walked away from me. "Eat your food or starve to death, your choice. Tsk! What a waste of money."

I was taken aback by what I heard, and I watched his back as he left the room.

Who told you to buy me? How I wish it wasn't you!

I've been fighting off hunger for a while now. I just couldn't bring myself to eat after what he did to me yesterday.

I still feel weak in my body. I couldn't bear to look at the marks he left all over me.
