CHAPTER 55: Confrontation

"If I tell you, will you really listen to me, Panying?" I asked her with a heavy heart and nervousness. "Will you believe me? Because ever since I returned here, all I've heard from you is judgment and insults towards my entire being. You raised your hand against me, even without hearing my side. So why now, Panying?"

"I'm sorry, Serena, but I can't blame you." Her eyes immediately turned red. "Sir Heskel almost killed himself, and you just came back."
