I was waiting for Austin to come back, but he didn't. It was the next day when I saw him, and then I started to tell him my plans. I was already excited, even though I knew that it might not work. Austin was listening to what I was saying, as if he could see this going through.

“I'm just saying, though, it might not work, but we have to try something. Jeremy is from the Blue Lake Pack, but he works at the restaurant with me. If you could tell him where I am, then maybe I would be able to leave this place with his help.” Austin nodded his head while listening to what I was saying.

“I've never been to a human settlement before, I hated humans because they are weak, Elio's parents have gone there, so I could use that as an excuse.” Austin replied. I chuckled and shook my head, not believing that he had said that.
