Playing in the rain

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow across the sky, dark clouds began to gather overhead. The air grew heavy with anticipation, and a gentle breeze rustled through the leaves, foretelling the imminent arrival of rain.

Birds began chirping in the distance, flying as quickly as they could to get to a safe place.

As soon as I stood up and glanced out of my bedroom window, I saw a couple of drops of rain, and then just a couple of seconds later, it became a downpour.

I had just finished my talk with Acacia, wondering how I was going to approach Lara in a way that wasn't suspicious. I had to figure out if she was still corresponding with Jessica, if she was the one who was spying on Acacia.
