Chapter 12: Sing Me A Lullaby

“EARL, it’s me, your little sister. Don’t you recognize me?” I asked and held my brother’s hand. Ronan woke up tonight, but we didn’t get to talk properly because he shifted and had turned wild again. He ran into the woods. The knights caught him and placed him in the room next door but he has yet to return to his human form.

Until now, I could still hear him howling. My little brother was crying. Just what kind of torture did they go through for them to be like this?

I wished Archer was here. Ronan looked up to him. I’m sure he could pacify Ronan easily since he inherited Dad’s personality. Archer was the kindest and the most responsible among us. But he could also be the most domineering and authoritative when he wanted to discipline someone. And the recipient of that disciplinary action was often Earl who was the most playful among us. Whenever Archer would talk, it was impossible for a person not to listen to him, including Earl.

My eldest brother had that kind of magic.
