Chapter 49: Rescue

“ARE these the new pets?” Garett asked Blade who was currently borrowing Boris’ face and identity. Garett, according to our investigation, was the vampire who contacts Boris directly. He came to meet us in the border along with the other vampire guards.

Blade smiled mischievously and wiped the blood off of his nose.

“As you can see, these ones are feisty. They got me real good before I brought them here. If not for the potion you gave me, I’d have a harder time taking them but I’m telling you buddy, they are better than the previous pets I brought before,” Blade patted Garett’s shoulders and whispered, “One of them is a minister’s daughter, one of the most beautiful women in our kingdom. And the men? I’m sure the ladies would love them and bid a lot for them.”
