BRIELLE’S POV

Brielle's breathing became more rapid as the two guards led her down the corridor slowly.

Despite her curiosity about who this buyer was, Brielle kept in mind that she was only an enslaved person, and she needed to be cautious.

However, try as she may, she did her best, craning her neck and trying to catch anything, but she couldn’t.

She didn’t hear a thing, and she was partially blind, too, because of the blindfold covering her eyes.

There wasn't even a pin drop needle on the floor, and all she could hear were their feet tapping noisily on the marbled tiled floor.

How she knew that the floor was marble tiled, she had no idea, but she was sure of her assumptions, and they never let her down.

Shaking her head softly, she tried again to hear something, anything, even if it was just the sound of an insect hissing nearby, but her efforts were useless.

Where the fuck were they? Still in the building leading her past rooms, or what? She was more than perplexed.
