I was glad I could take over from Ryker. That wolf was making me go crazy. I was even crazier when I saw Brynlee coming into the ward. I would never forgive myself if anything happens to her.

Fortunately, it seems all my anger had vanished as soon as I set my eyes on her. It still baffles me but I pushed that thought aside. It might be that I was just lucky.

I looked around the ward and saw neatly arranged clothes on the couch. I took it and got dressed. I wanted to freshen up but not in this hospital. I need to get out of this place. I hate hospitals!

The door opened and Loren came inside alongside the doctor. The doctor was shivering and I remembered how Ryker had instilled fear into him.

"You are back," Loren said, heaving a sigh of relief.

"Yes. Where is Brynlee?" I asked, eager to see her. The bleeding had stopped and I have healed totally.

"She is around. I think she had gone to meet Ellen at the reception. She was damn worried"
