.Chapter 3: give it your all or die trying to escape. The inside of the room is quite boring, an unexpected view for Althea. It is her first time seeing anything past the velvet doors, she is not quite sure why she hoped for something a bit less mundane.Warm yellow light shines on the walls covered by a fading red wallpaper, there is only a double sized bed in the middle of the room and a small bed side table with a single bottle of whiskey and a glass. No mirrors, no art, nothing. It is just a regular room. The man sitting on the bed looks intently at Althea sending a shiver down her every nerve and turning her muscles into stone. He is quite handsome with his sharp jawline and his toned body that shows even under a suit, nobody would dare to say he isn’t attractive; his eyes are the one place Althea can’t stop looking at.Those big round eyes, full of excitement like a little kid's eyes would be but also they are cold and calculating. The duality throws Althea into confusion because she doesn’t know what to expect. It feels like her every move is being monitored, from her chest rising unevenly at the rhythm of her breathing to the vein in her neck expanding and contracting almost invisibly to let the blood flow.I just wanted to dance.“I loved your dance, Althea” the man says with a raspy voice.“You weren’t the only one,” She answers without thinking. The second the words leave her lips, she regrets them. She opens her eyes in panic and stays quiet hoping this is just a bad dream or praying the man didn’t hear it.He lifts an eyebrow and looks at the blonde, amused.“Well, I suppose that is true. You gave quite a performance.”“Yeah.”Her tone is cutting and she is not sure why but she can't control her need to defy her buyer. Anyone sane would try to appease the threatening looking guy, try to speak sweetly and beg for mercy though Althea can’t find the strength needed to pray anymore, exhausted from fear pooling in her stomach. The need to fight takes over her again, fuelling his biting tongue.“My name is Diaz,” He says standing from the bed and grabbing Althea’s chin forcing her to look at him. “What’s yours, angel?”.“Althea, actually. Angel is the one with blue hair,” She answers. “You might want to ask for her instead.”A chuckle escapes Diaz’s lips, unamused.“You’re a feisty one I see,” he says grinning. “I don’t dislike it however, you were also quite pricy. Your fans’ bids kept increasing and I had to spend more than I was expecting to."Diaz snaps his fingers twice which makes the man who fetched him from the changing room move from his stand post by the door to get behind Althea. She tries to turn her head to stay vigilant on both threats but the man holds her chin with more strength.Althea brings her hand up to slap the other’s hand away and face the man who is standing behind her when she feels cold metal pressing against the back of her head. She freezes, her hand midway in the air.“This is Ronan,” introduces Diaz with a sweet smile.Ronan gives the man a surprised look but doesn’t say anything.“He is ready to blow your brains out, so I wouldn’t anger him.”Diaz leaves a light kiss on Althea’s soft cheek before sitting back on the bed.“This is how it’s gonna work, Althea,” says the brunette rolling the last word mockingly. A sly grin forms on his lips as he talks. “I have two hours before I have to go back to business and that means that you have that time to prove you're worth all the money I paid.”“What—what if—I can’t?” Althea’s voice breaks slightly due to the knot sitting comfortably in her throat. In a silent response the gun gets pushed harder against her skull. She gets the message loud and clear.Oh, right. He is here to to make me submit.“I am sure you will give it your all tonight,” answers DiazThe unmistakable sound of a bullet being pushed inside the chamber echoes in Althea’s ear.She just wanted to dance..TBCSold to DIAZ CARTEL.Chapter 4: as Althea is driven to hell. It comes at such an unexpected time, Althea has barely any time to process what is happening. She is so concentrated in making her lungs explode with air that she misses the lips crashing against hers almost completely. It isn’t until a tongue forces its way, exploring every inch of her mouth, she is pulled out of her panic and into the real world. The kiss lasts merely a couple of minutes but to Althea, it feels like hours, time when the air is being sucked out of her. She can’t breathe yet, somehow she doesn’t desperately need to like a moment ago.Once the brown haired breaks the kiss to breathe Althea has stopped thinking about whatever was causing her to hyperventilate earlier and more about the slight sting left on her swollen lips.Diaz’s face is only a couple centimetres away, Althea can feel his hot breath bouncing against her lips. Both sit on the floor in silence for a while, the only noise around the room bei

Lucius waves her good bye with a fake smile plastered on his face as the men lead her inside. They are ruthless, pushing her to walk faster not knowing—or caring—about her pained steps until she is shoved inside a spacious room with dark coloured walls, high ceilings and a broad canopy bed sitting against the wall. She is locked inside that room for three days. Three days full of fear and expectation of what would happen next. Three days she should have used to prepare for what was about to happen.Only if she had known.Once Diaz arrives back at the mansion he takes Althea like he did before. The blonde tries to resist, to run out of the room just to be met by two giant men. She learns that night how cruel Diaz can really be. Not being able to move alone for nine days. She tri

A long washed out denim coat hangs from her shoulders, falling casually over a pair of fitted black pants and a plain white shirt. Her hair falls naturally over her forehead while her eyes are covered by a pair of round glasses.“You two are nauseously cute,” confesses the younger with a fake gag. “Have you talked to Lucius yet? I know he will be happy to see you are back earlier.”“No, not yet.” She sighs before a yawn catches her by surprise. The jet lag deciding to hit her tired body. “I’ve heard a few things about your little trip to the strip club.”“You are getting old, do you know that?. You should go rest,” says Ronan ignoring the second part. He knew Jana would flip out when she heard about the club, causing the situation she was in a

YOU DO NOT OWN HER!!.”“YES I DO.” Diaz yelled back at his brother’s wife angrily. “I OWN EVERY INCH OF HER. I PAID FOR HER.”Both of them are screaming angrily at each other. The shouts echo through the room even reaching Althea’s hiding place which forces her to place her hands over her ears. Her time here has taught her one basic rule: don’t ever anger Diaz. As long as she followed that rule her torture was almost bearable, the problem was when others played with the patience of the older, something she obviously could not control but would always suffer because of. Thus she tried her best, following every order to keep him happy and hiding as best she could when she wasn't.The pair keeps shouting at each other until they attract public. Clyde show up in front of the door first, run

The torn skin on her bottom could get irreparable damage if it keeps getting abused,” explains the doctor. “I stitched the outside fissure but she most likely has internal fissures as well."The doctor is standing outside of the room talking to Jana in a low voice. Lucius is left inside with a sleeping Althea, seeing as the blonde refused to let go of his hand.“This is Diaz we are talking about, Doc. It won’t be easy.”“I know,” he says. “I have never seen someone so beautiful be shattered like this.”“I have,” answers Jana without thinking. “Anyways, thanks. I will take care of her.”The other man just nods a good bye.***** The moment she arrives at the office, her eyes fall over her husband, trained to find him in a crowd. The man gives her an adorable smile that show his dimples which give her enough courage to do what she has to do next. Jana walks into the office, squared shoulders and head h

The blonde just outright refuses to eat anything, always hiding in her false excuses of not liking that particular food. Jana gets more and more worried, not wanting to press Althea too much while also not backing down too easily. But her patience is low after days of excuses and hiding in Lucius’s chest. It presents the best opportunity when the raven gets orders to leave for Bangkok to deal with some small gangs under the control of the Cartel family. A perfect opportunity to get closer to Althea without her having an excuse to run.“I need to touch you, Althea. Is that ok?”The blonde just looks at her, lost. Head slightly tilted as if she was talking in a different language. Jana gives a small sigh. “I need to put some ointment on your lip, wrists and...” She doesn’t finish just lowers her gaze.Althea understands though, o
Sold to Diaz Cartel.Chapter 10: cigarettes and regrets .Althea keeps her head on her knees replaying the nightmare over and over again. Both their bodies lie close together over the bed with Althea behind Diaz, the position awkwardly highlighting their size difference. His arm encircles the older, cuddling her.Althea is still confused by her monster’s actions considering today he decided he just wanted to sleep. The whole day he had been somewhat….off, letting Althea dress after the shower for the first time in days, even going as far as to ask her to let him dye her hair for her. It all was very strange to Althea. The fact that Diaz would ask for something instead of just taking it seemed rather artificial, almost hallucinatory. Such was her turmoil, the blonde was shoved into primal mode expecting everything to fall apart on glass pieces of a lying dream.Diaz had softly grabbed her by the hand to lead her to a chair inside the bathroom where she sat still as her hair was dri

I quit two years ago but, well….I barely see my wife right now so it shouldn’t hurt.”Althea hears the hidden blame behind the words, after all, she is the reason why he is sleeping in the guest room, though she doesn’t care. She doesn’t particularly hate the man nor likes him. In Althea’s eyes, Clyde is just Janina’s suspicious husband. The pair sit in silence until both their bodies are frozen. The older finishes his second cigarette, starting to stand up when a small hand stops him.“Can I have one?” Althea asks in a whisper. All this time she had wanted to ask the man for a cigarette, seeing the other relax considerably after his first one. Althea thinks maybe cigarettes will help her. She has tried smoking before, a couple times when she was in the Academy. Some of her friends would contraband a packet from time to time and t
