Methis POV

I sat at the restaurant where Jamal had made reservations. I had never been to a restaurant of this quality before. It was exotic to say the least. It had yellowish walls with glistering lights and chandeliers so when they shone on the wall it gave an illusion of a golden wall.

"What's taking them so long?" I grumbled as I looked at the time. I had been seated here for over twenty minutes! That's it! I'm outta here, I said in my mind and was already about to stand up when I saw Jamal in a sleek black suit walking towards me with two little kids behind him. I waited for him to walk over and take a seat along with the little kids.

"You're late," I said staring at him.

"Yeah, I'm sorry," he apologized, "Summer here insisted on looking extra pretty for you," he explained.

"Good evening, Miss," the cute little girl in a pink dress greeted with a beaming smile.

"Good evening sweetie," I responded with a smile, "You're so cute. You're Summer I'm guessing," I said.
