Elena felt her legs ache as she made her way to the training ground. She wasn't sure what to expect from Norris, "he would definitely be upset with me for showing up late." She thought to herself and increased her pace.

She was absolutely right when she felt that way as Norris bore an unwelcoming look seeing her from afar.

"Is this how you wish to make my whole day useless by keeping me here for so long?" He sneered, his voice just as unwelcoming as his gaze on her.

He sounded so harsh, just like Marcus and her uncle, but not so wicked as them. She understood that he was obviously too angry for staying up there for so long without meeting her, it was perfectly normal for him to act that way.

"My apologies, sir." Elena retorted with a slight bow, still retaining her gaze on the floor.
