REGRETS IN BETWEEN

Elijah was beginning to blame himself for having trusted Alpha Marcus with his niece, by selling her off to him.

He expected that to boost their relationship even more since he had always made mention of needing a personal maid to himself, but no, all he could get in return was insults upon insults and the Alpha putting up a threat on his life.

But he was never going to let that happen anymore, he had been calm all along with the Alpha all this while, but not anymore! And now that his mate was here also for the same purpose, it was going to be easier getting the Alpha to back down from any threats he had on his life.

Elijah surely knew who he got mated to, and that was more reason why he didn't dare try to stop her from fighting the Alpha.

Just a few more threats from the Alpha and her wolf will completely take over her and attack the Alpha, alongside his so-called guards.

"Can we have a discussion inside the manor?" Alpha Marcus suddenly asked, his voice unusually
