Is The Castle Haunted?

Three synchronized knocks could be heard from Asty's bedroom door. At first, she tried to ignore it, thinking that it was only her mind playing tricks on her. But suddenly the knocks became more and more aggressive.

It has been almost an hour since the knocks started. 

It was nine in the morning in broad daylight, and yet someone, which she expected was a Night Hallow knocked on her room. 

She gulped, tiptoed away from her bed, and then listened. 

There was silence. 

Asty looked through the fish-eyed lens. She could only see the empty hallway, she felt shivers run down her spine. Who was knocking and why can't she see anybody?
