Worthy

It was midnight. Asty was staring at the blank wall, not knowing what to do. She couldn't sleep no matter which position she took. Even if the entire bedroom was silent and the lamp was flickering in a cozy tranquility, Asty's body still wouldn't budge at her favor to finally rest.

She tried closing her eyes one more time and snuggled under the fluffy blankets. But to her disappointment, her body never cooperated. She heaved a sigh, set aside the blankets, and stood up.

"Maybe a midnight walk would help." she told herself.

She walked towards the door and gently opened it to prevent any sound and closed it behind her. Asty stared at the long, dark hallways and took a deep breath.
