Chapter 5

Mrs Wood, Chleo and Mrs Thomas got to Nathan Wilson house, they seated on the couch in the living room when Nathan walk down the stairs, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Wood saw him and they stood up while Chleo was lost in thought thinking.

“ Good day Nathan” Mrs Thomas said and she smiled, Mrs Wood also smiled while Chleo was still seated.

“ Mrs Wood this my foster nephew Nathan Wilson, Nathan this my friend Mrs Wood, the one whom I told you about that her husband ran into debt and she needs money but right now her daughter is ill and she needs money so sue brought her second daughter for money in exchange” Mrs Thomas said, Chleo noticed that, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Wood had already stood from the couch and she also stood up and their eyes both met and they recognize themselves.

“ Nurse” He said.

“ You” She said, Mrs Thomas and Mrs Wood were confused.

“ What is going on here? Did both of you know each other?” Mrs Wood asked.

“ Yes, she once helped me when I had a minor accident, she came to my aid” he said.

“ I hope, you will not change your mind Nathan, please I need the money” Mrs Wood said.

“ Yes, Mr Nathan, you should not change your mind, my sister is dying and she needs to be treated as soon as possible” Chleo said and Nathan took his check book and he wrote a check for Mrs Wood and gave it to her, Mrs Wood took it and she was happy.

“ Thank you so much, Nathan” Mrs Wood said and she hug Chleo and left and Mrs Thomas also left and they left Chleo.

“ I am going to be your slave” Chleo said.

“ No, you can’t be my slave” he said.

“ Why? But you bought me already” she said.

“ I know but I did that to help Mrs Wood to solve their problems, you once save my life so I guess this is what I can do to thank you” he said.

“ But I can’t go back home, my stepmother will think that I am bad and she might think that you will want to take back the money at anytime and I don’t want more debt for my family” she said.

“ Alright if you think, I will go back on my words then you can stay here for a while and when you believe then you can go back home” he said.

“ But we can be friends I guess” he said and Chleo smiled and was happy that she was not going to be slave.

Mrs Wood paid off all their debts and they got back their house, it’s been weeks later, Layla and Mrs Wood started their luxury life and forgot about Chleo while Chleo and Nathan got closer and they fell in love, Nathan had decided to propose to her to be his wife, Chleo accepted and they are planning their marriage, Layla and Mrs Wood thought that Chleo was a slave until they got an invitation of Chleo’s wedding, Layla was shocked and jealous because Chleo will live a luxury life, she was pain and she wanted Nathan for herself.

“ This can’t be true mum, I thought Chleo was supposed to be slave, how come she is turning wife, no, I can’t accept this mum, I want Nathan for my self, Chleo will enjoy all the luxury life and we will just be here” Layla said in anger.

“ What do you want us to do, Nathan is getting married to her soon” Mrs Wood said.

“ We have to look for a way to get her kill, she is always blocking my way, remember I was supposed to be there and not her” Layla said in anger.

“ You are right about that, don’t worry, we will plan” Mrs Wood said.

Weeks after, Chleo and Nathan got married and they both had their wedding night while Mrs Wood and Layla had their evil plan.

Chleo and Nathan had their honey moon in France, they got back to American weeks later, Chleo was feeling weird and she decided to go to the hospital,the doctor carried out test on her.

“ Mrs Wilson, congratulations, you are four weeks pregnant” the doctor said and Chloe was happy and she can’t wait to announce the good news to Nathan, she walked out of the hospital with her entourage but not knowing that Layla and Mrs Wood has planned for her on her way back home, she sent messages to Nathan that she has a good news for her and she had told him to prepare a dinner tables for the both of them and Nathan did, on her way home, the driver was shot, and there was shoot out, they shot, the bodyguards thay was with her and she was also shot, the criminals thought she was dead but she was still breathing, the news was all over, Layla and Mrs Wood announce her dead, Nathan could not believe because her dead body was no where to be found, Layla and her mother celebrate but Layla hope that Chleo was dead because she was no where to be found, Nathan was down and Layla went close to him and she also pretended to be crying.

“ It’s so sad, I can’t believe that I lost my sister” she said and Nathan stood up from where he seated with the drink in his hand and he went to his room, Layla cleans her tears.

“ No matter what, I will make sure that you are mine Nathan, I killed my sister ti have you” she said speaking to herself, Nathan went to his room staring at Chleo picture while he has tears in his eyes, he throw the drink in anger  crying.

“ Why Chleo? Why do you have to go so soon” he said in anger.

“I will make i get my revenge back” he said in anger.
