Mirabelle couldn't stop thinking about the moment with Ray. She felt a mix of emotions, but most of all, she felt confused.

"Why did you stop me?" Ray asked, breaking the silence between them.

Mirabelle took a deep breath before answering, "I just need some time to figure out my feelings, Ray."

"But I can't keep my feelings for you inside any longer. I have to tell you that I love you," Ray confessed.

Mirabelle felt her heart skip a beat. Was Ray really in love with her? She didn't know how to respond.

"I don't know what to say, Ray. I need time to process this," she finally said.

Ray nodded, understandingly, "Take all the time you need, Mirabelle. I just hope that you can see how much I care for you."

As Ray walked away, Mirabelle couldn't help but feel a sense of regret. What if she was making a big mistake by not giving him a chance? She knew that she needed to sort out her feelings before making any decisions.
