Chapter Fifty Eight Brad and Sydney

We arrived at the Langston Palace an hour before sunrise, and the vast place had me gasping in amazement. The room he instructed to give me is an adjoining room to his own, and I have no strength to argue with him or decline. As I sat there watching the big glass windows that showed the view outside, I couldn't help but listen to his movements from the room he occupied. The luxurious place is filled with antiques and expensive furniture. As this is the first time I step foot inside the Palace I have been reminded of the days when I was young and I only look at this big place from afar.

"Get some sleep Sydney, I will wake you up for a tour at lunchtime. Right now we both need some rest from the long drive."

I almost flinched when I heard his voice through the mind link. Somehow, I feel connected to him. My hand reaches to feel my slightly swollen lips. I could still remember how he kissed me and how I was rendered powerless against his charm. Alpha Brad almost took my innoce
