Chapter Forty Two

"I'm sorry Mom, I made you and Dad worried."

I spoke in a subtle confusion when I meet my mother's eyes, if she was really worried or if she has been confident of the idea that my mate will come and get me. The smile on her lips reaches her eyes and there is no trace that she had been very much worried about the time that I left. My father who sits beside her looks at me with a hint of gladness in his eyes but he does not show it much as to let Nick know that they were still upset by the issue.

"Oh sweetie, your Dad and I felt relieved when the wizard of the Langston Palace and also Prince Nick reassured that he will go and bring you back."

Nick holds my hands while we sit in the long couch facing my parents. My father looks at us and his expression changes when meeting my mate's eyes.

"I want to give you my gratitude for bringing back our daughter Nick."

He let out a long controlled breath, my father is not mad anymore. I can feel him returning his feeling into normal.
