Gabriel happened to be passing by. When he overheard Yvette's rant, a smile crept up his face.

Lost in thought, Noelle didn't notice him. After helping Yvette into the car, she asked, "Are you sure you can go home in this state?"

Her brows drew together as she pondered for a moment. "I can't possibly go home in this condition. Can I crash at your place, Noelle?"

Noelle agreed. "Sure."

Yvette continued, "That wretched woman is always up to something! One minute she's broken her leg, and the next she's having an asthma attack. And when all else fails, she gets into a car accident. I mean, she's either in the ER or on her way there. How is she still alive after all that?"

Noelle smiled wryly as she thought, "No matter what happens to Xyla, Quentin will always save her."

"Let's not talk about her anymore, Yvette." She didn't want Xyla to ruin her day. Yvette arched her brow and said no more.
