Quentin looked worried. His forehead creased with concern, and he felt his chest tighten.

The doctor helped Noelle with her wound and warned her not to touch it again to prevent scarring. After thanking the doctor, Noelle prepared to leave. Quentin tried to help her, but she pulled away from him.

"Mr. Lowe, you should get ready for the courthouse," Noelle said coldly. She showed her determination to proceed with the divorce immediately.

As she began to walk away, Quentin grabbed her wrist, and said, "It's my fault. I shouldn't have left you with Michael! I'm sorry!" He genuinely meant his apology, though there was a hint of his usual controlling nature in his words.

Noelle smiled thinly and said, "You've apologized enough, Quentin. You'll never prioritize me over Xyla. So, why keep holding on to this marriage?"

Seeing the pain in her eyes, Quentin felt a sharp ache in his own heart. Holding her tighter, he asked, "What if I promise it won't happen again?"
