"Jessi, what's up?" He asked, worried. He could hear her sobbing over the phone. "Jessi breathe," he urged, picking up the pace on the way to his car. She was scaring him. "O-ok, ok," she stammered, struggling to swallow the lump in her throat. "Ryan is on his way to Santa Fe and I can't find Sofia anywhere!" She exclaimed in a rush of words Rico could barely hear. "Wwwait, I don't understand. Why's Ryan going to Santa Fe and what do you mean by you can't find Sofia? Try to talk calmly so I can understand what you're saying." Jessi nodded, covering her mouth with her hand. She shuddered, doing her best to calm down. "I had called Sofia on my way to the hotel but she wasn't picking up her calls. I got to the hotel just as the ambulance was leaving and different people were saying Ryan was injured but I couldn't believe any of that. So I went in and the hotel confirmed everything. They said Sofia showed up at the desk with her box and told them Ryan was injured then left in a taxi."
