Samantha didn't take Bill's death well. She felt it was her fault. She believed, that she had let down her guard and gotten him killed. I tried to make her see things differently but she refused. She wouldn't. There was a possibility that she would have died if it weren't for Bill's sacrifice. There was a possibility that we would have all died. Whatever kind of sorcery hit Bill was meant for her. The fact that we had survived that attack was a miracle. I couldn't understand why she wouldn't see it that way.

Glover had used the mutants as a form of distraction to make us let our guards down. The Sorcerer was his ace, and he used her well. If it weren't for Sam's quick thinking, the bastard would have killed us all. There was no way we could have survived that intense magic on our own. It was a miracle that we were still alive.

Glover attacked us with the intent to kill Sam and all of us. We were all lucky to be alive. No pack would have survived an attack of that magnitude.
