The day came when my father woke up so we were all in the hospital, including Diego. He still has difficulty speaking but that is the only problem. The doctor said that he is slowly recovering so we can expect him to continue recovering. I haven't even told my father that I'm getting married because he hasn't spoken yet. So the first thing my mother and I did was prepare for the wedding.

"Do you think Dad would be angry if I told him?" I asked Diego. We left the hospital and Diego told Dad that we should stay with them first, he didn't even nod, he couldn't do anything because it was only right that they were close to me.

"He won't get mad, I am sure of that." I turned to him. I still can't imagine him being hands on in preparing for the wedding even though I can also see that he is busy with his own life.
