“Concentrate, Kida,” Kenai said calmly as he floated above, seeming to watch my every move. It was confusing how he always knew what you were doing, even if you were doing it silently.

I sunk lower into the warm water, my muscles soaking in the heat and helping them to relax. I had already spent ages simply soaking in the tub and letting the bubbles from the soap refresh my skin.
