Kayla had returned back to her home and well, it had indeed been Roman who had gone to drop her off. Damon had not even needed to say a word about it, to be honest. He was all ready and sexy when they had come down to have breakfast in the morning, making Bella want to hide the teasing smile on her face with very best attempts.

"What are you thinking about." Bella felt a kiss on the side of her neck before she felt Damon wrap his hands around her waist and pull her closer. 

"Making the new project." Bella muttered as she put down her pen to go over the details in the papers scattered on the bed in front of herself. The bed was covered with books and color pens.

Damon waited for a minute for her eyes to turn to him but she was too engrossed in chewing on the end of the pen she had in her fingers while staring down at something to read.

"Look at me when you talk to me." Damon said in an upset tone while grabbing her chin and turning it in his direction
