Forty nine
It wasn’t that day. It wasn’t the next. Two days after the police paid Greg a visit at school that Kristen noticed that a few things seemed off around her car in the morning. She ignored it, though, knowing that she needed the extra time to get around when she got to school. Now that she was getting bigger with the growth of the baby, it was making her have a hard time walking and getting up. She was adjusting to the newness of her body as it changed.
When she got to her first class, she was already worn out from the moving around. She knew that she had to get to the class and then she could rest. That was when she thought she felt someone watching her a little too closely. She turned to see but couldn’t see anyone there. She walked into the building, and the feeling passed. The energy coming from her abdomen was also high. However, it was trying to reach out to calm her down more than anything else.

“Twins?” Greg asked with a huge smile.“It seems that the two of them have been hiding one behind the other. Greg called his parents for the first time in a few months. He knew that they would be okay without talking for so long and probably wouldn’t even notice how long it had been. He had Kristen living with him when he did call the last time, but he hadn’t told his parents about her then. He didn’t think they would mind, but he really didn’t want to hear them preach to him about a younger woman and all the risks he was taking to his career. It wasn’t the only reason as well. His phone was constantly ringing the entire way home. He already felt bad for even thinking this was a good idea. He honestly didn’t know why he thought his parents would be happy and pleased for him. He had been hopeful and was riding the high of finding out about the twins. That was his only excuse for this.
