Paige went back to work as usual the next morning. Upon seeing no signs of the debt collectors gathered around the office building, she was able to enter the building with no issue. When she passed by Zion, Paige greeted him. “Good morning, Zion!”

The look on Zion’s face changed almost immediately the moment he heard Paige’s voice. Zion then turned around and returned to his office as if he ran away. The employees that were in the middle of a discussion with Zion followed him to his office.

Upon seeing that, Paige felt as if she walked on air. She stayed in her office for the rest of the day and it was about late noon that Zion showed up at her office again.

“Have you signed the document?” asked Zion while he stood right at the door. He studied Paige carefully with a defensive look on his face.
