That night, Sir slept with extreme restlessness.

In his dream, he seemed to have encountered something saddening, and he kept on sobbing.

Estelle dared not to wake him up and to turn over to look at his face. She had to strictly abide by the rules that were set by Sir. It was past midnight before she fell asleep in a daze.

It was seven o’clock in the morning, and she was awakened by the ringing alarm clock.

She was alone as always on the large bed, and it was empty all around her.

It was actually pretty amazing. Every night that she spent in Banyan City Hotel’s room 1231, she seemed to sleep very soundly. Sir’s leaving did not disturb her at all.

She got up quickly to shower, put on light makeup in front of the mirror, and went out to hail a taxi.

After boarding the taxi, Abigail called her on the phone, “Estelle, are you there yet?”

Estelle glanced at the iconic building outside the window and replied, “I am already on my way. I should be there in about 15 minutes.”

“Oh, tha
