Estelle was stunned for a minute.

Birthday?

It seemed so.

It was her twenty-sixth birthday.

Estelle burst out into laughter. Her lift had lately crumbled around her, how could she have remembered?

“You forgot?” The man’s voice held an alcoholic tinge, “It’s alright, I remember it.”

Estelle asked, “Mister, did you drink?”

“But, the smell of alcohol coming from you is strong. Did you have a lot to drink?”

The man suddenly smiled. “Trying to control me now, are you?”

At that point, she felt like what she said was inappropriate. She changed her tone, “I just want you to be safe, you’re a good person.”
