Chapter Three

Starved Passion:::

Ivana could not believe, she thought he was joking, she had been expecting tough questions from him, but he had just given her the job on a platter of gold?

Ivana tired to wake up from her daydreaming, until reality dawn on her when the woman inviting the applicants for their interview told the rest to leave the premises, according to her word, " Mr Tyler Gilbert had gotten a secretary"

Her eyes once again scanned the building as she sat in the cab, She got the job! The job as a private secretary to the heir of Gilbert group of company,  news about the dismiss of it's owner spread like wild fire, every news channel talked about it, the face of the old billionaire covered almost all the front covers of every Russian magazine, Gilbert group of companies was the top financial leading company in the whole world.

And being the private secretary to the second son means a lot of things anyone could imagine, from flying a first class and private jet all over the world, to attending sophisticated dinner parties, fat salary, conducive working environment, Ivana couldn't contain her excitement anymore, "I got the job!" She screamed, not minding the surprise stare the driver gave her.

Quickly she called her sister to break the good news to her, this was the beginning of something great for her and her sister, but something kept tugging the corner of her heart which she brushed off quickly.

To her excitement of being the private secretary to Gilbert heir, Ivana and her sister decided to celebrate in one of their favourite bar.

After a long day at work, Davin decided to leave his office earlier than usual, he exited the building after working for hours, although it was late, he checked his Rolex watch seeing it was 8:15pm, on most cases he leaves his office by 10pm.

Davin kept on walking along the street not going anywhere in particular, his mind wander back to his father, Davin never blamed himself, he blamed his father for everything, for breaking the family, despite the fact he was doing well for himself.

Davin knew his father was keeping tabs on him, typical old Gilbert, always wanting to be fully involved with his offspring, Davin was proud to break off the yoke.

He kept walking along the busy street, hands in his pocket, he suddenly became conscious of his environment, his bodyguards were not around him, there was no protection of any kind, he quickly brushed off the eerie feeling when he realized no one was looking at him, and hopefully it doesn't make it to the news headline the next day, maybe everyone has a lot on their neck, not giving attention to those standing or walking beside them.

Admiring the beautiful surrounding, his eyes fell on a young boy whose mother was playing with him, Sara came to his mind, he had missed her, his mother, the only woman who knew him in and out, a lot of times he had yearn to hear her soft voice, to feel her warm soft hands caressing his face, to lean in her blossom, to cry, to tell her everything he had passed through.

Whenever he picks his phone to dial her number, Gilbert face shown, the memories came all flooding in.

    A bright green light catches his eyes, davin walked closer and saw it was a bar, seems like a new bar, because most time he passes through this route from work, he had never seen the bar.

He walked  in straight to the bartender and order for a glass of Martini while sitting down, it's been long he visited the bar maybe six months ago with his best friend, he didn't have any need to visit a bar, he had more than enough drink of his choice in his mansion.

He loved and admire the artistic drawings on the wall, the soft background music, the lights, everything feels comfortable, Part of his heart wished he was there with his fiancee, he quickly brushed that thoughts off.

He was enjoying himself while on his third glass, gradually he was loosening himself while still contemplating if he should attend his father's burial, he had told Tyler he would be coming home this weekend, his eyes following the movement of everyone that walked in and out of the bar.

Everything looked ordinary to him, it's not like the sophisticated charity party he do attend, or the expensive clothes most people wear to dinner parties, no one was trying to be on their best behavior, with fake smiles plastered on their faces, all dolled up with makeups of every color.

Everything and everyone looks normal, too normal for a billionaire, in most cases, tens of women would have noticed him, walking seductively towards him, flirty lips and eyes, sliding their numbers in his suit, he was a man after all, he had taken handful of them who catches his eyes to bed, discarding them as usual.
